Original Tiger Bone

Known as the “King of the Beasts,” the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Tiger Bone is a fierce mixture of plum, black cherry, & blackberry. Our wine is aged in tiger bone for 12 years to welcome & celebrate every “year of the tiger.” The Tiger Bone is traditionally known for it’s healing properties and often used to replace anti-inflammatory drugs. It is believed that the tiger bones are in charge of evil spirits, killing ghosts and poisoning, stopping convulsions, and treating acne. Due to the endangerment of these beautiful beasts, Tiger Bone pledges never to kill or harm any tigers for the production of this wine. Our tigers die a natural death and are laid to a peaceful rest. Considering the life of these precious cats, wine is only sold when available, while supplies last.

As an intern at Haugaard Creative, I embarked on an intriguing project to craft captivating labels for a unique, fictitious wine collection. Embracing the opportunity to unleash my creativity, I delved into extensive research and discovered an intriguing tradition: valuable wines in China are infused with the essence of tiger bone. Drawing inspiration from this cultural aspect, the design seamlessly intertwines modern aesthetics with the timeless allure of the Chinese Zodiac. Through a series of meticulously crafted labels, the traditional use of the Chinese Zodiac was reimagined, breathing new life into this ancient practice. This wine collection exhibits a harmonious fusion of contemporary design and cultural symbolism across a diverse range of labels, each telling a story that honors tradition while embracing the spirit of innovation.
